pushed the Lewisville Farmers for 11 innings before falling 5-4 in a
well-played ballgame.

Week of 3/25-3/28

Week
of 3/18-3/21 - The
Mustangs managed a 1-2 record this week after battling
the weather and one of the top teams in the area.
The
Mustangs couldn’t get on track and dropped their
district record to 1-2 on Thursday as the Coppell Cowboys visited
Creekview.
On
Friday, the team hosted R.L. Turner and pulled their
district record back even at 2-2 with a win that saw the return to the
mound of
senior pitcher Ben Chrisman and was highlighted by a walk off homerun
by
sophomore Nick Bell.
On
Saturday, the team hosted the Longhorns of W.T.
White in a close non-district match-up in which the Mustangs came up
short, 6-4.

On Friday, March 14th,
the Mustangs traveled to
Flower Mound Marcus and pulled their district record even by defeating
the

capped off
with a heart-stopping, bases loaded, back-to-back game ending strikeout
pitching performance by Nick Duncan.
The
Mustangs had the opportunity to travel to the
Frisco RoughRiders stadium Saturday, March 15th, to play
our own
Coach Herrick’s son, Ty Herrick, and his Naaman Forest Rangers
teammates. Although the Mustangs fell to the Rangers
4-1, a good time was had by all as the players enjoyed the experience
of
playing at the RoughRiders ballpark.
